Sue Delport
Sue is an Occupational Therapy (OT) lecturer at Cardiff University, School of Healthcare Sciences. She has worked in a variety of settings mainly within paediatric services, including learning disabilities, community, educational and private paediatric services, in South Africa, England and Wales, both as a practitioner and manager.
Her area of special interest is children and young people with co-ordination and sensory processing difficulties. She has been an executive member/director of the Sensory Integration Network (UK and Ireland) for 12 years, and remains passionate about providing children with accessible and relevant therapy that will impact the quality of their lives. Her research interests are in the area of sensory processing and developmental coordination disorder. Sue is leading the study along with Rachel McNamara.

Rachel McNamara
Rachel is a Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Director for Mind, Brain and Neuroscience Trials at the Centre for Trials Research at Cardiff University. She has expertise in trial design and conduct, including development and evaluation of complex behavioural interventions. Rachel has a particular interest and developing expertise in intellectual disability, autism and mental health research.

Liz is a research associate at the Centre for Trials Research and the study manager. She handles many of the day to day tasks involved in running the study.

Rhys is a research assistant and sees a lot of the parents and children who take part in the study. As part of his role, he explains the study to parents and carries out some assessments and questionnaires.
